After 90 years without a municipal theater (the last one was destroyed in the earthquake of January 1915), the new Teatro dei Marsi was inaugurated at a gala symphony event. Raffaello Di Domenico, president of Italia Nostra, Avezzano Section, and Carmine Melandra, vice president, present the Italia Nostra Award to Mayor Antonio Floris for his contribution in bringing the theater to completion.
